Dr. Mina Swofford grew up in northeast Ohio. She graduated with a combined six-year BS/MD degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She then completed an Internal Medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and a Dermatology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
In addition to caring for her patients at the Swofford Dermatology Center, she donates her time to the Department of Dermatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine as a volunteer faculty member teaching dermatology residents and assisting them in the care of patients at Eskenazi Hospital. Dr. Swofford has been selected by her peers numerous years as one of Indianapolis Monthly's Top Docs in the field of Dermatology. She served as chief resident at both hospitals. Upon completion of each residency, she became board certified. She maintains active certification in the field of Dermatology.
